Have you guys checked out Banksy’s Dismaland? I would love to go to it!
While in Beijing I got to spend some time in the 798 Art District. It is a great place for art lovers to visit. Located in Dashanzi, Chaoyang District of Beijing, it houses a thriving artistic community. I went to an amazing William Kentridge exhibition at The Ullens Centre for Contemporary Art, called Notes Towards a Model Opera.
I recommend checking it out….

I spent the month of August in China, spending most of the time in Beijing hanging out with my brother and his girlfriend who live there. I also travelled to Shanghai and Chengdu. I had the most amazing time. One of the highlights was getting to see Ai Weiwei’s first solo exhibition in Beijing. Ai Weiwei is one of my favourite artists, I have watched his movies, followed his art career as well as his work as an activist. It was very overwhelming seeing his work in person for the first time at the Tang Contemporary Art Center in the 798 District of Beijing.
Check out Ai Weiwei’s website for more information on him…. http://aiweiwei.com/
